Ms. Dennis has worked tirelessly on behalf of children and families. While much of her work focuses on the developmental needs of children at risk and those with special needs, she
focuses on the needs of all children. Her focus has always been “strength based.” She
advocates that teachers and parents must look at the abilities of a child, the strengths,
before looking at what the child cannot do. Her focus is on how children learn and that they
should be taught to their learning styles. She also is unique in her view that there is a
strong connection between health and education and she is very vocal about how teachers and
physicians can work together for the optimal development of children. She is also a strong
supporter of utilizing a multidisciplinary approach toward working with children for optimal
learning to occur.
Her company Global Enrichment Solutions utilizes Psychologists, Speech
Therapist, Occupational Therapists, general educators, and special educators to implement
the multidisciplinary approach when working with students. She assists families in helping
them “to Navigate through the systems.” She has presented this information at a number of
National Education Conferences.
She taught in the fields of early childhood, special education, and elementary education.
She has extensive knowledge, expertise, and experience working with adults and youth in
